IAL CREATES PARTS DEPARTMENT WITH EXPERIENCED TEAM

Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) has recently developed a specialist Parts Department following the appointment of two dedicated truck Parts Managers.

Leading the newly-created IAL Parts Department is National Truck Parts Manager, John Plunkett, who comes to Isuzu with 15 years of automotive-related parts experience at several high-profile North American and European truck and tractor manufacturers. 

Isuzu Trucks customers in Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia will also benefit from the recruitment of Kevin Brown to the position of Parts Manager - Southern Region.  Mr Brown combines strong customer service and retail dealership experience with industry knowledge, having served as a Parts Manager at an Isuzu truck dealership for several years.

According to IAL Director of IT, Engine and Parts Operations, Peter Rutkis, the creation of a specialised Parts team was based on very strong Isuzu truck sales over the past five years leading to increased demand for Isuzu truck parts.

"Isuzu's strong market share and volume position in Australia over many years has led to an increase in demand for Isuzu Parts and dedicated parts customer support infrastructure," Mr Rutkis said.

"We simply outgrew our old parts support structure - hence our decision to establish a dedicated national parts team."

Boasting wide industry and Dealership experience, Mr Rutkis said the new team looked forward to providing market-leading support and services for Isuzu truck customers.

"Reliability is very important to Isuzu - this not only applies to our trucks, but our parts, service and supply chain as well," Mr Rutkis said.

"Our new parts team has a wealth of industry experience and automotive knowledge and our dealerships nationwide and customers will greatly benefit from their work in the coming months."
