Isuzu's CNG engines emit zero particulate matter, a miniscule 0.2 of nitrogen oxides and 25% less carbon dioxide. Not surprisingly, they breeze through 2011's Euro V standards. In most respects, they even exceed the very demanding Euro VI standard (which will come!). Clearly CNG is the fuel of the future.
With CNG fuel, costs can generally be expected to be reduced by half* (and in some cases up to a whopping 67%). This is partly because it's Australian and not subject to global commodity pricing. And partly because it's a cheaper fuel in the first place. It's important to note that engine power and torque remain about the same. *Dependent on particular diesel costs and truck application.
Isuzu's been developing CNG trucks for more than 20 years. All of this experience has come together in Isuzu's new CNG models. They are all Japanese-built and fully compatible with Australia's natural gas and design rules. Naturally, they come with a full manufacturer's warranty of three years or 100,000 km.
Isuzu's CNG powered engines are already in their third generation of development. CNG has proved to be reliable and loaded with benefits and available to you in the new N Series NLR 200, NPR 300 models and the new F Series FSR 700 and FSR 850 models.
