New 260PS 6HK1 six cylinder, turbo-charged and intercooled diesel engine with diesel oxidisation catalyst (DOC) is the only medium-duty truck engine available that does not require Particulate Filters (DPD / DPF) or Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR). This makes the new 6HK1 very well suited to high idle, PTO and frequent stop/start applications. And with over 760Nm of torque, you will not be short of grunt.

This engine represents the pinnacle in engine technology as the future moves towards lower displacement, higher torque, higher horsepower engines. Available in 210 PS and 240PS power ratings to suit a diverse range of applications.
Available in 87 different models to suit every application
This means medium-duty truck customers have a choice depending on application and specification preference. A huge increase in the F Series 2 pedal offering also means over 37 models available with either torque converter AMT or Allison automatic transmissions.
Torque Converter Automated Manual Transmission
The Isuzu TC-AMT sees introduction of a torque converter to the AMT increasing torque at low RPM by up to 45%. This means a more responsive truck from a standing start, smoother gear changes and improved torque at lower RPM.
Isuzu Idle Stop Start (ISS)
Isuzu Idle Stop Start (ISS) adds to the efficient 4 cylinder offering, automatically stopping the engine at traffic lights and in heavy traffic. The ISS system can help in fuel saving of up to 10% in heavy traffic alone.
10,700-14,000KG GVM ECONOMICAL 4 CYLINDER POWER
The F Series 4 cylinder offering is now available with two 4HK1 engine options – the first being the 4HK1-TCS 210PS intercooled turbo engine and the second being the high torque, 2 stage turbo 4HK1-TCH engine producing 240PS and 765Nm of torque. This new 4HK1-TCH is Isuzu’s most technically advanced engine yet and when coupled with the all new Automated Manual Transmission with Torque Converter (TC-AMT) and Idle Stop-Start system (ISS) it is the most fuel efficient engine in its class.
11,000-16,500KG GVM LOW MAINTENANCE 260PS 6 CYLINDER WITH DOC
This segment of the F Series range offers GVMs to meet most applications. You can select manual or Allison automatic transmissions and a host of wheelbase options throughout. 4x4 and crew cab models are also available. If that wasn’t enough, you’ve also got the power of a 6 cylinder 260PS intercooled turbo charged diesel engine producing 761Nm of torque. And with emissions controlled by a simple Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) system, servicing will be a lot less painful.
300PS HIGH POWER 4x2, 6x2 AND 6x4 RANGE
F series ‘maximum capacity’* range including standard 4x2, 6x2 lazy axle and 6x4 tandem axle configurations. All powered by the highly-regarded 6HK1 - TCS (221kW/300PS) turbo, intercooled diesel engine. Available (depending on model) with Meritor drive axle and brake assembly with steel spring or Hendrickson airbag suspension and ZF 9-speed manual or Allison 3500 series 6-speed automatic transmissions. *This is not Isuzu's maximum capacity range, only in F Series models.
